The Clinic

One of those who joined the new congregation was Gideon Oiengo, the local government Clinical Officer, who ran the Government Clinic in Dundori. He was dissatisfied with his work, as he had to turn away many of those needing treatment because they couldn't afford to pay. He got together with Daniel and discussed the matter, and after deep thought and prayer, they decided to start a church clinic, which would treat all comers, regardless of their ability to pay. So Gideon resigned from, Government service, they rented some rooms, and the church clinic opened!

From these simple beginnings in the early 90s, the work has grown, moved rented premises several times and since 2008 they have had their own centre (with no rent to pay!) The facility now contains a pharmacy, a laboratory and several treatment rooms.
